If you can, I'd recommend downloading these tracks (from the 'downloads' section) as they tend to have a couple of odd pops and blips here.

originals

Written (very) late in the evening, it was hastily recorded at a very low volume in the corner of my room. As tame as it may sound on the recording, when I redid the ebow in the morning, it was so loud I thought my hearing was going to go at any moment. I'm going to add a lyrics section to the site at some point soon.

collaborations

I wrote the vocal parts and acoustic guitar; everything else was done by my good friend Berk. It first surfaced around the beginning of November last year, I guess, only to be completely reinvented when Berk wrote that awesome bassline. A lot of the other parts (namely the drums) are a very recent addition; it took me about 9 months to get around to re-recording my parts though so this has been a long time coming. The acoustic guitar and one vocal part were recorded live, other parts overdubbed at later dates.

covers

Wilco's "On and On and On". I'm at home so I only have a couple of instruments... figures it turns out to be one of the most adventurous covers.

Bon Iver's "Skinny Love". Apologies if you can hear hammers and/or electric saws; they've been at it all day.

Here's a cover of Fleet Foxes' "White Winter Hymnal", which is, coincidentally, available for free download on their myspace. Just so you have a vague idea of what I'm working with, here's a photo of the (extremely professional) set-up I had for the tambourine:

This one was done in about 5 minutes but yeah, I love this song.
